A new point campaign is coming to the Monday Trade [**Voyage Point Program**](https://app.monday.trade/?ref=blog.monday.trade#/competition).

We’re expanding the Points Program with the Resting Order Program, rewarding tight, resting perp limit orders with a share of the weekly point pool.

## **What is the Resting Order Point Program?**

The Resting Order Point Program now rewards traders who place limit orders that remain on the Perp order book within tight spreads from fair price.

Instead of only earning points from filled trades, traders can now earn points simply for placing limit orders that sit (“rest”) on the Perp order book.

This new campaign reallocates a meaningful portion of the weekly point pool toward orders that improve market quality and tighten spreads, giving traders a new way to contribute and earn on Monday Trade.

Monday trade is allocating **12% of the total Voyage Point Program** to this ongoing campaign.

## Eligibility Requirements

To be eligible:

- Your order must be a limit order on a perp market
- The order must stay on the order book for at least 3 seconds
- The order’s price must be within 40 basis points (bps) of fair price

**Important to note:**

- No trade execution is required; orders earn you points even if they don't fill
- Filled resting orders also earn points from the Limit Order pool, allowing you to earn from both
- Spread eligibility updates as fair price moves.
- Place orders slightly tighter than the threshold to stay consistently eligible.

## How Points are Calculated

Your contribution is calculated based on several factors:

- Order notional value: The size of your order
- Market multiplier: Boosted rate for selected markets
- Spread multiplier: Based on how close your order is to fair price
- Orders within 40 bps of fair price can earn up to 2.0x multiplier
- Orders closest to fair price (within 10 bps) receive the highest reward (2x multiplier)
- Orders within the broader threshold (10–40 bps) still qualify and earn a lower multiplier
- Orders beyond 40 bps *do not earn points* from this
- Duration: How long the order remains on the book

## How to Get Started

1. Simply go to [Monday Trade](http://app.monday.trade/?ref=blog.monday.trade) or connect your wallet on the [Point Program page here](https://app.monday.trade/?ref=blog.monday.trade#/competition)
2. Connect using any preferred wallet
3. Sign the wallet confirmation approval pop-up and enter your wallet password (*if required*)
4. Place your perp order

Points can be seen alongside your point history and the [current leaderboard](https://app.monday.trade/?ref=blog.monday.trade#/competition) for every epoch.
